Summer 2015 Kitchen Color Trends
On Monday I shared my tips on picking the best kitchen paint color, including the too-often forgotten best practice of choosing paint after all of your other kitchen finishes. As a follow up, I also wanted to give you some of my favorite color combinations that the designers at Mary Cook Associates have pulled together over the last couple of months. Let me know what you think of these four very different kitchen color trends!
For a kitchen with white or very light cabinets, a warm natural countertop goes perfectly. Cabinets: Merillat Labelle, Cotton in Tuscan Glaze. Countertop: Andino White Granite. Paint: Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige for the general wall color & Silver Strand for accents.
A warm, medium toned wood cabinet and quartz countertops go perfectly with cool neutrals. Cabinets: Merillat Tolani, Pecan. Countertops: Aspen Quartz. Paint: Sherwin Williams Colonnade Gray for general wall color and Uncertain Gray for accents.
For the discerning homeowner, sometimes only custom painted cabinets will do. This crisp, modern palette will stay current for years to come. Cabinets are painted in Benjamin Moore Pure White for upper cabinets, and Midnight Blue for base cabinets. Countertops: Caesarstone in Arctic White. Paint: Benjamin Moore Gray Owl.
