The New York Daily News dissected the various elements of the Mary Cook-designed model home at Toll Brothers' Hoboken, New Jersey, condominium Hudson Tea. Mary designed this particular model by imagining the person living there: a Wall Streeter who embraces technology and has a girlfriend that helped him decorate.

The article explained how Mary applies the D.I.Y. (do it yourself) ethos to decorating by creatively mixing affordable pieces from Ikea, west elm, Crate & Barrel and Design Within Reach.
