OBJECTIVE: The renovation and modernization of a prestigious 60,000-square-foot Tudor-style clubhouse with a 100-year history.
ACTION: Mary Cook & Associates infused the clubhouse with a sophisticated,
casual and welcoming attitude while lovingly restoring and enhancing the
historical character of the original building.
RESULTS: A warm and inviting approach to clubhouse interior design allows Evanston Golf Club to serve as a model for bringing other historic clubhouses across the country into modern times. Since the renovation, the club has experienced a 15 percent increase in overall membership. There has also been a surge in existing member use of the club, while banquet and event bookings are the highest in club history.
